Golden Globe: la lista di tutti i film, serie tv e attori premiati, a mani vuote “Io Capitano” di Matteo Garrone

È un trionfo per Oppenheimer, delusione per Barbie, a mani vuote il film italiano candidato Io Capitano diretto dal regista Matteo Garrone. A Beverly Hills, nella notte italiana, è andata in scena la cerimonia di assegnazione de Golden Globe. Un’81esima edizione nel segno del cosiddetto “Barbenheimer“, crasi tra i due titoli che hanno monopolizzato i botteghini la scorsa estate, e del ritorno di un brand devastato negli ultimi anni da scandali e riforme. La cerimonia è andata in onda per la prima volta sulla CBS dal Beverly Hilton di Beverly Hills.

Si accennava al largo successo di Oppenheimer di Christopher Nolan che ha portato a casa cinque premi su otto candidature tra cui quelli per il miglior film drammatico, per la miglior regia e per il miglior attore in un film drammatico interpretato da Cillian Murphy. Appena due statuette su nove nomination per Barbie di Greta Gerwig. Niente premio per il racconto epico del dramma dei migranti di Matteo Garrone, Io Capitano, superato nella categoria del miglior film internazionale – non in lingua inglese – da Anatomia di una caduta. LiLy Gladstone è diventata la prima attrice nativa-americana a vincere un Golden Globe: miglior attrice per la sua interpretazione in Killers of the Flower Moon di Martin Scorsese.

I Golden Globe storicamente inaugurano la cosiddetta “stagione dei premi” nel cinema americano, anticipano spesso le tendenze che si confermano alla cerimonia degli Oscar. Erano assegnati dalla Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), un’associazione di giornalisti stranieri sciolta dopo alcune inchieste giornalistiche in cui si raccontavano i suoi metodi controversi. Le rivelazioni avevano messo in crisi il riconoscimento cinmtografico. La scorsa estate il marchio è passato alla Eldridge Industries e alla Dick Clarck Productions e a votare ora è un gruppo di 300 giornalisti internazionali.
